The flamboyant band are facing criticism for going ahead with the concert after all people in Scotland were instructed by the police and the government not to travel unless absolutely necessary. Most of the country has been blighted by extreme snowfall and freezing temperatures - the worst for almost 50 years - for the last two weeks. A spokesperson for the band's promoters issued a statement refusing to offer refunds to fans who had bought tickets but were unable to travel to the gig because of the extreme weather conditions.
